2017年6月21日，伊罕（Eheim）获得全球知名的评选活动——“国际品牌大奖”所评选的“年度最佳品牌”。星光熠熠的颁奖典礼在维也纳的霍夫堡皇宫举行。
“世界品牌大奖”（动物及宠物类）目标在于评选和鼓励动物和宠物用品界的杰出品牌。与来自35个国家的92个其他品牌一道，伊罕在该颁奖典礼上被授予了“年度最佳品牌”的称号。
在地区性和国际性奖项得主中，既有各种宠物食品和用品的生产制造商，也有宠物店主，其中还有四家非盈利性的动物保护组织。

“年度最佳品牌”奖项表彰了全球众多伟大的宠物和动物品牌所取得的成就。优胜者的评判标准基于三个方面：品牌估值、消费市场调研和公众在线投票。消费者投票占总分权重的70%，因此，获胜品牌必须与其客户建立紧密的联系，才能在比赛中胜出。全球6万多名宠物和动物爱好者对35个国家的800多个品牌进行了投票。
本次评选由世界品牌论坛（World Branding Forum）主办，这是一家全球性的非营利性组织，致力于提升品牌标准，从而造福品牌界和消费者。该机构组织和赞助了一系列教育项目，并与领先的大学和博物馆开展合作。

World Branding Award - EHEIM awarded "Brand of the Year" (23.06.2017)
Deizisau, June 2017 – On June 21, 2017 EHEIM was awarded "Brand of the Year" at the prestigious "World Branding Awards". The glittering award ceremony was held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.
The "World Branding Awards" are aimed at recognizing brands in the pet and animal sector and, along with 92 other brands from 35 countries, EHEIM was awarded "Brand of the Year" at the Animalis Edition‘s ceremony.
Among the national and international award winners are various manufacturers of animal food, animal supplies as well as pets hop owners. In addition, four non-profit animal protection organizations are among the winners.
EHEIM received the "Brand of the Year" award for Germany along with three other companies. Managing Director Ibrahim Mefire Kouotou accepted the prize. He emphasized the global importance of EHEIM in the aquatic sector and praised the trust and cooperation they share with their customers, not only in Germany, but all over the world. He also thanked the EHEIM staff, adding "The fact that EHEIM is still such a respected, successful company and has now been recognized as a "brand of the year" is thanks, above all, to their expertise and commitment. This prize is dedicated to all of them."
The Animalis “Brand of the Year” awards pay tribute to the achievements of pet and other animal brands around the globe. The winners are selected using three different methods: brand assessment, consumer market research and public online voting. Consumer votes count toward 70 percent of the final score, so winning brands have to have built a strong relationship with their customers in order to win. Over 60,000 pet and animal lovers from around the world voted for more than 800 brands, from 35 countries.
The awards are presented by the World Branding Forum (WBF), a registered, worldwide non-profit organization. Its aims and activities are to raise the standards of branding for the benefit of both the industry and its consumers. The WBF develops, manages and supports a wide range of different programs including research, development, education, recognition,networking and outreach as well as organizing and sponsoring many different ducational programs and cooperating with leading universities and museums.
